We have had a nice weekend. On Friday I submitted the second component to a super big project that I have been working on for my master’s class so I am glad to have just one more part to complete and the end of this class will be in sight! I am enjoying my class this semester, but it sure is a lot of work! I am ready for this class to end and for me to start my summer classes.

Then on Saturday we attended a couples baby shower for my friend Missy who is due this summer. We had such a great time I forgot to take pictures, but it was great seeing her and her husband and some of my college friends.

Warning: This next part is mostly for my mom as she is dying for me to post about this…ha!

In the meantime we have made a few home improvements that I thought I would share. I ordered this rug back in November and after many months of waiting it came the first week of April and it was the WRONG color. They sent me a brown and black one, and it was not cute, so I returned it and the correct one came this past week. It is much better and Coco likes it too!

We also got an a new armoire for our bedroom. We really needed more storage and I wanted a piece that would hide the T.V.

Of course that meant that we HAD to get a new T.V according to Chris. I will admit our old T.V weighed a thousand pounds and was outdated so I am not complaining. I have been enjoying the T.V when I have some spare time to watch it!
